Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Right

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
3. Remove the crankcase vent tube.
4. Remove the wiring bracket at the generator bracket.





5. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
6. Move the heater hoses aside.





7. Remove the rocker arm cover bolts. Discard the grommets from the rocker arm cover.





8. Remove rocker arm cover. Discard the old gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the rocker arm cover and a new gasket.
2. Install new grommets into each valve cover through hole.
3. Install the rocker arm bolts.
^ Tighten bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
4. Reposition the heater hoses.
5. Install the oil level indicator tube.
6. Install the wiring bracket at the generator bracket.
7. Install the crankcase vent tube.
8. Connect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
