Auxiliary Heating System Case

Rear Auxiliary Heater:




Auxiliary Heater And Heater Stone Guard Cover:







Remove or Disconnect

1. Drain engine coolant.
2. Recover the refrigerant.
3. The rear quarter trim panels.
4. The heater to roof duct from the auxiliary heater.
5. The heater to floor vent duct.
6. The electrical connectors from the auxiliary heater.
7. The heater and A/C line cover from the underside of the auxiliary heater.
8. The heater line to the underside of the auxiliary heater, if equipped.
9. The heater lines from the underside of the auxiliary heater.
10. The retaining nuts from the underside of the auxiliary heater.
11. The auxiliary heater from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. The auxiliary heater to the vehicle.
2. The retaining nuts to the underside of the auxiliary heater.

Tighten
^ The auxiliary heater retaining nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

3. The heater lines to the underside of the auxiliary heater.
4. The heater lines to the underside of the auxiliary heater, if equipped.

Tighten
^ The heater line retaining nut to 25 N.m (18 lb. ft.).

5. The heater and heater line cover to the underside to the auxiliary heater.
6. The electrical connectors to the auxiliary heater.
7. The heater to floor vent duct.
8. The heater to roof duct from the auxiliary heater.
9. The rear quarter panels.
10. Recharge the refrigerant.
11. Fill the engine coolant.
