Muffler: Service and Repair

NOTE: On some models, the muffler cannot be serviced alone. It must be serviced as a complete assembly.

REMOVAL
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle on a hoist.

135 Inch Wheel Base:

155 Inch Wheel Base:

135 Inch Wheel Base (Below 8300 GVW):

155 Inch Wheel Base (Above 8300 GVW):

Cutaway And RV:

2. The front clamps from the muffler.
3. The rear clamp if present, from the muffler.
4. The hangers from the exhaust system as required.
5. The muffler from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. The muffler to the vehicle.
2. The hangers to the exhaust system as required.
3. The rear clamp if present, to the muffler.
4. The front clamps to the muffler.
5. Lower the vehicle.
