Positive Battery Cable

Auxiliary Battery Cables:

CAUTION: Refer to "Service Precautions".

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The negative battery cable from the battery.
2. The positive battery cable from the battery.
3. The positive battery cable retainers from the frame.
4. The positive battery cable from the auxiliary battery.
5. The positive battery cable from the vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The positive battery cable to the vehicle.
2. The positive battery cable to the auxiliary battery.
Tighten
^ The auxiliary battery cable to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. The positive battery cable retainers to the frame.
4. The positive battery cable to the battery.
5. The negative battery cable to the battery.
Tighten
^ The negative battery cable to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
