Negative Battery Cable

Auxiliary Battery Cables:

CAUTION: Refer to "Service Precautions".

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The negative battery cable from the auxiliary battery.
2. The negative ground lead to the frame.
3. The negative battery cable from the vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The negative battery to the vehicle.
2. The negative ground lead to the frame.
Tighten
^ The negative ground lead to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. The negative battery cable to the auxiliary battery.
Tighten
^ The auxiliary battery terminals to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
