EGR Vent Solenoid Replacement

EGR Solenoid:

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the negative battery cables.
2. Remove the electrical connector from the solenoid.
3. Remove the vacuum hoses.
4. Remove the EGR Vent solenoid mounting bolt (2).
5. Remove the EGR vent solenoid (1).

Installation Procedure
1. Install the EGR vent solenoid (1).
2. Install EGR Vent Solenoid mounting bolt (2).

Tighten
^ Tighten mounting bolt to 6.0 Nm (53 lb. in.).

3. Install the vacuum hoses.
4. Install the electrical connector to the solenoid.
5. Install the negative battery cables.
