Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair

- Tool Required:
- J 21426 Extension Housing Oil Seal Installer

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT






1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Transmission oil.
3. Propeller shaft.
4. Rear extension oil seal.

INSTALL OR CONNECT






1. New seal using J 21426.
- Coat the outer edge of the seal case with a non-hardening sealer.
2. Propeller shaft.
- Lower the vehicle.
3. New transmission oil.
