Door Jamb Switch Replacement

Door Jamb Switches:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable. Refer to Service Precautions.
^ Using a socket wrench, loosen the nut on the door jamb switch. Pull the switch forward from the body.
2. Switch from the electrical connector(s).
^ Tape the wiring to the body to prevent it from entering the hole in the door pillar.

Install or Connect
1. Electrical connector(s) to the switch.
2. Door jamb switch to the vehicle.
^ Tighten the nut on the switch.
3. Negative battery cable.
