Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

Booster Pushrod Mounting:

Brake Pedal And Bracket Mounting:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Booster pushrod and stoplamp switch from brake pedal. Refer to Stoplamp Switch.
3. Nut and through bolt from top of brake pedal at mounting bracket.
4. Brake pedal.

Install or Connect
1. Brake pedal.
2. Through bolt and nut.

^ Tighten Nut to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

3. Booster pushrod and stoplamp switch.
4. Negative battery cable.
