Table A ABS Indicator Lamp Always OFF, No DTCs

Table A (Circuit Diagram):

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) controls the ANTILOCK indicator lamp by supplying ground to turn the lamp on or 12 volts to turn the lamp off.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
If the ANTILOCK indicator lamp is off constantly, there is an open or short to voltage in the lamp circuit between the indicator lamp and the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). Also check for an open GAUGES fuse or an open bulb.

TEST DESCRIPTION

Table A (Diagnostic Chart):

NOTE: Number(s) below refer to number(s) on the diagnostic chart.

2. Check for normal operation of the indicator lamp.
3. Manually (with fused jumper) turn off the indicator lamp.
