C0065

DTC C0065 Circuit Diagram:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The relay supplies power to all eight solenoid coils (4 isolation solenoid coils and 4 dump solenoid coils) when Antilock Brake System (ABS) operation is required. The relay and the eight solenoid coils are located within the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING DTC
EBCM microprocessor commands the relay on low voltage on all eight solenoid driver circuits when all are expected to be high (solenoid not energized)

ACTION TAKEN WHEN DTC IS SET
- ANTILOCK indicator lamp is illuminated
- ABS is disabled

NOTE: This DTC is an Ignition Latched DTC which indicates the above is true until the ignition is turned to OFF (even if the cause of the DTC is intermittent).

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
DTC C0065 is usually set by an open relay coil or non-closeable relay contacts. The relay is located within the EBCM and is not serviceable. If the test does not repair the DTC the EBCM must be replaced.
