Accumulator Replacement

Accumulator Mounting:

Evaporator Hose To Accumulator:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.

2. Recover refrigerant from the system.

3. Compressor and condenser hose assembly from accumulator.

4. Evaporator and accumulator hose assembly from accumulator.

5. Accumulator clamp bolt.

6. Accumulator from accumulator clamp.


INSTALL OR CONNECT


1. Accumulator into accumulator.


NOTICE: Refer to "Fasteners" under "Vehicle Damage Warnings."


2. Accumulator clamp bolt.


- Tighten bolt to 10 Nm (88 lbs. in.).


3. Evaporator and accumulator hose assembly to accumulator.

4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly to accumulator.

5. Negative battery cable.

6. Refrigerant to the system.

- Check the system for leaks.
