Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

CAUTION: Care must be taken when handling the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. Damage to the IAT sensor will effect proper operation of the fuel injection system.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner cover.
2. Air filter element.
3. Electrical connector.
4. Retaining clip from IAT sensor.
5. IAT sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and clip in air cleaner assembly.
2. Electrical connector.
3. Air filter element.
4. Air cleaner cover and nut.
