This bulletin is being revised to cancel the 1994 model year engine exchange program and initiate the 1995 model year engine exchange program. Please discard bulletin number 376115A (Group Reference - Engine).
To gain product feedback on the electronic fuel injection version of the 6.5L diesel engine (L65 VIN Code F, L56 VIN Code S, and L49 VIN Code P), an Engine Exchange Program is now in effect and will continue through August 31, 1995.
The exchange program will be administered by divisional technical assistance groups (TAN/TAC/TAS).
This information should be filed in the "Special Exchange Policy Procedures" manual previously provided.
If your dealership receives a customer concern on this engine, follow the procedure below.
