Service Procedure

1. Proceed with refrigerant recovery and recycling procedures to discharge the entire system. Use J39500 or equivalent recycling and recharging equipment.

2. Remove grille to gain access to condenser.

3. Disconnect the condenser outlet tube and hose fitting joint (Figure 1).

4. Remove orifice from the condenser outlet tube.

5. Remove and discard the 0-ring and replace with a new 0-ring P/N 52454645. Use lubricant mineral oil lubricant P/N 5416939 to lubricate the 0-ring prior to installing it on the liquid line. If during evacuation, oil was recovered from the system, replace the exact amount removed with PAG oil P/N 12345923. Pour the replacement oil into the condenser outlet tube before reconnecting the condenser.

6. Reconnect the condenser outlet tube fitting and torque to 27.5 Nm +/-3 Nm or 20.28 lb. ft. Use back up wrench to prevent tube or brazed fitting damage.

8. Leak check the condenser outlet tube fitting.
