EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Solenoid: Service and Repair

EGR And EVRV Solenoid:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove air cleaner assembly, if necessary.
- Disconnect electrical connector at the solenoid.
- Disconnect vacuum hose connections.
- Remove bolt(s) and solenoid.
- Remove filter, if required.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Install filter, if required.
- Install solenoid. Tighten bolts to 2 Nm (18 lb.in.).
- Connect vacuum hoses.
- Connect electrical connector.
- Install air cleaner assembly, if removed.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Check system to ensure proper operation.
