Shift Linkage: Adjustments

Fig. 8 Shift Linkage Adjustment. Except Astro, Safari, S/T-10/15 & C/K Series:

1. Loosen nut (11) or screw (17), Fig. 8, then place column selector lever in Neutral position.
2. Move shift lever (A) to forward position, then back to second detent (neutral).
3. Hold rod (15) securely in swivel (7), then torque nut or screw to 17 lb ft
