Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

Remove injection nozzle, then connect suitable tester and gauge following tool manufacturer's instructions. Starting opening pressure should be 1493 psi. Spray pattern should be uniform and atomized near the nozzle tip. Any solid column of fuel or small droplets forming near the tip is unacceptable.
