Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket Replacement (LFX)

Removal Procedure

Warning:

1. Remove the compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LFX) Air Conditioning Compressor ReplacementAir Conditioning Compressor Replacement (L77) Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement.





2. Remove the compressor drive belt idler pulley to compressor mounting bracket retaining bolt (2).

3. Remove the compressor drive belt idler pulley (1).





4. Remove the compressor mounting bracket to cylinder block retaining bolts (1).

5. Remove the compressor mounting bracket (2) from the cylinder block (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Position the compressor mounting bracket (2) to the cylinder block (3).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the compressor mounting bracket to cylinder block retaining bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).





3. Install the compressor drive belt idler pulley (1).

4. Install the compressor drive belt idler pulley to compressor mounting bracket retaining bolt (2).

Tighten the bolt to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
