Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
3. Remove the oil pump and the oil pump driveshaft.
4. Inspect the oil pump driveshaft and the oil pump.

Installation Procedure





1. Important: Rotate the driveshaft as necessary in order to obtain the engagement with the oil pump drive unit.

Install the oil pump driveshaft and the oil pump.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the oil pump bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the oil pan.
