Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the splash shield from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector for the mass air flow/intake air temperature sensor (MAF/IAT) 1.
3. Remove the connection for the IAT sensor 2
4. Loosen the clamps 3.
5. Remove the air intake duct 4.
6. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor 5.
7. Remove the air cleaner assembly 6.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air cleaner assembly 6.
2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor 5.
3. Install the air intake duct 4
4. Tighten the clamps 3.
5. Install the connection for the IAT sensor 2
6. Reconnect the electrical connector 1.
7. Install the splash shield.
