Oil Pan Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the oil pan cover retaining bolts.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Remove the gasket.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the gasket and cover on the engine block.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the retaining bolts for the cover.
Tighten the retaining bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
