Intake Manifold Tuning Valve (IMTV) Solenoid Replacement

INTAKE MANIFOLD TUNING VALVE (IMTV) SOLENOID REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the intake manifold tuning valve (IMTV) solenoid (2) connector.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the IMTV solenoid (2).
4. Remove the IMTV solenoid (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IMTV solenoid.
2. Connect the vacuum hoses to the IMTV solenoid (2).
3. Connect the IMTV solenoid (2) connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
