Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet

HEATER HOSE REPLACEMENT - OUTLET

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
2. Use J 38185 in order to position aside the heater hose outlet clamp.




3. Disconnect the heater outlet hose (2) from the outlet pipe.
4. Use J 38185 in order to position aside the heater core outlet hose clamp.
5. Disconnect the heater outlet hose from the heater core.
6. Remove the heater outlet hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the heater outlet hose.




2. Connect the heater outlet hose to the heater core.
Use J 38185 in order to secure the heater core hose outlet clamp.

IMPORTANT: Position heater core hose clamps in the indicated location.

3. Connect the heater outlet hose (2) to the outlet pipe.
4. Use J 38185 in order to secure the heater hose outlet clamp.
5. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
