Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the plenum to hood seal.
3. Remove the wiper arms.




4. Remove the push-in retainers from the engine edge of the screen.






Notice: Be sure to follow the service procedure when removing the air inlet grille panel. Failure to follow service procedure may cause damage to the air inlet grille panel or the windshield.

5. Slide the screen down and out from under the edge of the windshield.
6. Disconnect the washer hoses from the bottom side of the screen.
7. Remove the air inlet screen.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the air inlet screen to the opening.
2. Install the windshield washer hoses to the under side of the screen.
3. Install the screen by engaging the screen clips under the edge of the windshield.




4. Secure the engine side of the screen with the push-in retainers.
5. Install the wiper arms.




6. Install the plenum to hood seal.
7. Close the hood.
