Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door window.
2. Disconnect the power window motor electrical connector (2), if equipped.
3. Remove the following components from the door:
^ The 5 bolts (4)
^ The nut (3)
^ The window regulator (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Apply a multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the window regulator (1) to the door. Secure the regulator with the 5 bolts (4) and the nut (3).

Tighten
Tighten the regulator bolts and nut to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Connect the power window motor electrical connector (2), if equipped.
4. Install the front door window.
