Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front side door water deflector.
2. Remove the 2 window-to-regulator bolts.
3. Remove the window (1) by pulling up and out of the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Before installing the window into the door, check to see that the bottom channels are securely attached to the window. If a channel is loose, note the location of the channel on the window and then remove the channel from the window. Clean all remaining adhesive from the channel. Apply a bead of Automix Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 3M P/N 08641, or equivalent, to the channel and install the channel onto the window. Refer to adhesive manufacturer's instructions for cure time.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the window (1) to the door. Secure the window to the regulator (2) with 2 bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the window-to-regulator bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

2. Install the front side door water deflector.
