Side Impact Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the front door sill panel.
3. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel.
4. Remove the front seat belt retractor.
5. Remove the electrical connector.
6. Remove the fasteners (2).
7. Remove the side impact sensor (1).

Installation Procedure
1. Enable the SIR system.
2. Install the side impact sensor (1).
3. Install the fasteners (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 20 N.m (14 ft lb).

4. Install the electrical connector.
5. Install the front seat belt retractor.
6. Install the center pillar lower trim panel.
7. Install the front door sill panel.
