Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair

POwer Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch Signal:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch (1) electrical connector.
2. Remove the PSP switch (1) from the high pressure power steering line above the power steering pump (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the PSP switch (1) into the high pressure power steering line above the power steering pump (2).

Tighten
Tighten the PSP switch to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Connect the PSP switch electrical connector.
