Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the radiator cap.
2. Start the engine.
Run the engine for 15 minutes.
3. Stop the engine.





4. Open the drain plug on the radiator.
Drain the coolant.
5. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator outlet hose at the radiator.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose.





7. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator outlet hose at the engine outlet pipe.
8. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine outlet pipe.

Installation Procedure





1. Position a new hose clamp on each end of the new radiator outlet hose.
2. Install the new radiator outlet hose to the outlet pipe and to the radiator.
3. Position the hose over the outlet pipe and the radiator flares.
4. Use the hose clamps in order to secure the hose.
5. Use an approved coolant in order to fill the radiator.
