Hydraulic System: Service and Repair

Flush the hydraulic brake system if the brake fluid is contaminated by any of the following fluids:
^ Water
^ Improper brake fluid
A silicone based fluid
^ A petroleum based fluid
^ Mineral oil
If any fluid contaminates the brake fluid, replace all of the rubber parts that were exposed to the contaminated fluid.
Use at least 0.94 L (1 quart) of brake fluid, GM P/N 12377967 (or equivalent DOT 3 brake fluid) in order to flush the hydraulic brake system.
