Wiper Motor Cover Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the wiper arms from the vehicle.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel.
3. Remove the connector from the wiper motor cover.
3.1. Pull the retainer out of the connector.
3.2. Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor cover.
4. Remove three screws and the cover from the wiper motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

IMPORTANT: The cam must be in the position shown and the wiper motor assembly must be in the park position so the drive pin will be in the open area of the cam during installation.

1. Install the cover onto the wiper motor with three screws.

Tighten
Tighten three screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Connect the connector to the cover assembly.
3. Install the retainer into the connector.
4. Install the air inlet grille panel.
5. Install the wiper arms onto the vehicle.
