Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet
Removal Procedure- Tools Required
- J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System
2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Sheet Metal Diagonal.
3. Use the J 38185 in order to reposition the inlet hose clamp at the thermostat housing.
4. Disconnect the inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
5. Use the J 38185 in order to reposing the inlet hose clamp at the radiator.
6. Disconnect the inlet hose from the radiator.
7. Remove the inlet hose.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the inlet hose to the vehicle. Align the marks on the hose.
2. Connect the inlet hose to the radiator.
3. Use the J 38185 in order to secure the inlet hose clamp at the radiator.
4. Connect the inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
5. Use the J 38185 in order to secure the inlet hose clamp at the thermostat housing.
6. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Sheet Metal Diagonal
7. Refill the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System
