Off Vehicle (Floor Shift)

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE





1. Remove the tilt lever.
2. Remove the hazard knob.
3. Remove the turn signal switch lever.
4. Remove the pivot and pulse dimmer switch assembly.
5. Remove the 3 binding head cross recess screws (1) from the turn signal switch assembly (2).
6. If removal of the turn signal switch assembly (2) is not needed let it hang freely.

IMPORTANT: Use care not to damage the wires when pulling through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly (3).




7. Remove the turn signal switch assembly connector from the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly following these steps:
7.1. Remove the turn signal switch assembly connector from the bulkhead connector.
7.2. Attach mechanics wire to the turn signal switch assembly connector for reassembly.
7.3. Pull the turn signal switch assembly connector through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.
