ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE





1. If the turn signal switch assembly was left hanging, skip the next step.
2. Install the turn signal switch assembly to the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly following these steps:
2.1. Push the turn signal switch assembly connector through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.
2.2. Install the turn signal switch assembly connector to the bulkhead connector.
2.3. Install the turn signal switch assembly into the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

IMPORTANT: Use care not to damage the wires when pushing them through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.





3. Install the 3 binding head cross recess screws (1) into the turn signal switch assembly (2).
^ Tighten the 3 binding head cross recess screws to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the pivot and pulse dimmer switch assembly.
5. Install the turn signal switch lever.
6. Install the hazard knob.
7. Install the tilt lever.
