Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the electric mirror.
2. Remove the glass from the mirror housing.
3. Remove the electric mirror motor retaining screws.
4. Remove the electric mirror motor from the housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the electric mirror motor to the housing.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the electric mirror motor retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the electric mirror motor screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the glass to the mirror housing.
4. Install the electric mirror.
