Installation Procedure
1. Use the 3 screws in order to install the SIR coil and combination switch (2) to the column.
2. Connect the SIR coil and combination switch electrical connectors (2).
3. Secure the harness (2) to the column with the wire bands (1).





4. Install the upper column cover (1) and the lower column cover (2).
5. Secure the column covers with the 5 screws.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





6. Tighten the 2 upper steering column mounting TORX headed bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the upper steering column mounting bolts to 14 N.m (10 lb ft).

7. Install the knee bolster.
8. Install the lower steering column trim cover.
9. Secure the lower steering column trim cover with the 3 screws.
10. Install the steering wheel to the steering column.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.
12. Enable the SIR.
