Air Cleaner Element Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the one bolt (2) from the Air Cleaner (ACL) cover.
2. Release the two retaining clips (1) from the ACL box to the ACL cover.
3. Swing the ACL cover to the side and remove the air filter element.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air filter element into the ACL box.
2. Align the ACL cover over the ACL box and secure with the two retaining clips (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the one bolt (2) attaching the ACL cover to the inner fender.

Tighten
Tighten the ACL cover bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
