REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
2. Remove the accelerator cable end from the slot (1) in the throttle lever.




3. Loosen the accelerator cable locknut (1).
4. Slide the accelerator cable (3) out of the accelerator cable bracket.
5. Disconnect the TV cable from the transmission.




6. Disconnect the accelerator cable/TV cable stop (1) from the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
7. Release and push the accelerator cable/TV cable assembly through the bulkhead opening.
8. Remove the accelerator cable/TV cable assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the accelerator cable/TV cable assembly through the bulkhead opening.
2. Connect the accelerator cable/TV cable stop (1) to the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
3. Connect the TV cable to the transmission.




4. Insert the accelerator cable (3) into the accelerator cable bracket.
5. Secure the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket by tightening the accelerator cable locknut (1).




6. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
7. Insert the accelerator cable end into the slot (1) in the throttle lever.
8. Adjust the accelerator cable free-play.
