Liquid Vapor Separator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the two fuel vapor hoses from the fuel vapor separator.
3. Remove the one screw and the fuel vapor separator from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Align the notch in the fuel vapor separator with the hole in the fuel tank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fuel vapor separator to the fuel tank and secure with one screw.

Tighten
Tighten the fuel vapor separator screw to 1.2-2.0 N.m (11-18 lb in).

3. Connect the two fuel vapor hoses and secure with the two clamps.
4. Install the fuel tank to the vehicle.
