Fill Limiter Vent Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the two vapor hoses (2) from the fill limiter vent valve (1).




3. Remove the four screws and fill limiter vent valve from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES




1. Install the fill limiter vent valve to the fuel tank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the fill limiter vent valve to the fuel tank with the four screws.

Tighten
Tighten the fill limiter check valve screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).




3. Connect the two vapor hoses (2) to the fill limiter vent valve (1).
