Evaporative Emissions Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the two vacuum hoses (1) from the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve (2).
3. Disconnect the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve electrical connector (3).
4. Remove the one screw (4) and the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve (2) from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve (2) to the fuel tank and secure with the one screw (4).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

2. Connect the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve electrical connector (3).
3. Connect the two vacuum hoses (1) to the [1][2]EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve (2).
4. Install the fuel tank to the vehicle.
