Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the throttle body from the vehicle.
2. Drain any remaining engine coolant into an appropriate container.
3. Remove the four screws and the IAC valve (2) from the throttle body (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install a new rubber gasket (1) onto the throttle body (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the IAC valve (2) to the throttle body (3) and secure with the four screws.

Tighten
Tighten the four IAC valve screws to 3.3 N.m (29 lb in).

3. Install the throttle body to the engine.
