Refrigerant: Description and Operation

Refrigerant performs the following functions in the air conditioning system:
^ Absorbs heat
^ Carries heat
^ Releases heat

These vehicles use Refrigerant-134a (R-134a). Refrigerant-134a is a nontoxic, nonflammable, clear, colorless liquefied gas.
