Receiver Dehydrator Tube Replacement - Outlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the bolt and the receiver/dryer outlet pipe (6) from the receiver/dryer.
3. Disconnect the receiver/dryer outlet pipe from the evaporator inlet pipe.
4. Remove the receiver/dryer outlet pipe from the [1][2]condenser fan retaining clip.
5. Remove the receiver/dryer outlet pipe from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Coat new O-rings with mineral base 525 Viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the O-rings to the receiver/dryer outlet pipe (6).
3. Position the receiver/dryer outlet pipe (6) behind the radiator core support brace.
4. Secure the receiver/dryer outlet pipe in the [1][2]condenser fan retaining clip.
5. Connect the receiver/dryer outlet pipe to the evaporator inlet pipe.
6. Install the receiver/dryer outlet pipe to the receiver/dryer. Secure with the bolt.
7. Evacuate and recharge the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
8. Operate the A/C system and inspect for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing.
