Receiver Dehydrator Tube Replacement - Inlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Disconnect the pipe fitting at the condenser outlet.
3. Remove the bolt and the receiver/dryer inlet pipe (4) from the receiver/dryer.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Coat new O-rings with mineral base 525 Viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the O-rings to the receiver/dryer inlet pipe (4).
3. Install the receiver/dryer inlet pipe to the receiver/dryer. Secure with the bolt.
4. Connect the pipe fitting at the condenser outlet.
5. Evacuate and recharge the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
6. Operate the A/C system and inspect for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing.
