Temperature Control Cable Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.

1. Disconnect the temperature control cable (6) at the heater case (1).
2. Remove the heater control unit (5).
3. Disconnect the temperature control cable at the heater control unit.
4. Remove the temperature control cable from the instrument panel (IP).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the temperature control cable (6) in the vehicle. Route the cable as previously noted.
2. Connect the temperature control cable to the heater control unit (5).
3. Install the heater control unit to the IP.
4. Connect the temperature control cable to the heater case.
5. Adjust the temperature control cable. Refer to Temperature Control Cable Adjustment.
