Heater Hoses ReplacementREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the engine cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
2. Release the heater core inlet hose clamps at the bulkhead and:
^ At the intake manifold
^ At the thermostat housing
3. Remove the heater core inlet hose.
4. Release the heater core outlet hose clamps at the bulkhead and at the radiator inlet hose:
^ Running along the top of the transaxle
^ Above the starter
5. Remove the heater core outlet hose.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the heater core inlet hose to the bulkhead and:
^ To the intake manifold
^ To the thermostat housing
2. Secure the hose with clamps.
3. Connect the heater core outlet hose to the bulkhead and to the radiator inlet hose:
^ Running along the top of the transaxle
^ Above the starter
4. Secure the hose with clamps.
5. Refill the engine cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
