Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 35749 Oil Pressure Switch Socket





1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the electrical connector.
3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (1) using J 35749.

Installation Procedure





1. Coat the threads with sealer.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the engine oil pressure indicator sensor (1) using J 35749.

^ Tighten the engine oil pressure indicator sensor to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).

3. Install the electrical connector.
