Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR system.





2. Remove the Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module.
3. Remove the upper and lower shrouds.





4. Remove the steering wheel.
5. Remove the steering wheel column wire harness (1) from the wire harness straps (2).





6. Remove the retaining ring (3).
7. Remove the Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil (2) from the steering shaft.
